Before entering the world of Chinese Medicine, she completed a 3+ year advanced studies and teacher training program which studied the art and science of yoga. Practicing yoga since 1999, she has experienced the release of emotional blockages through physical movement, which can be shed layer by layer. She now uses acupuncture and massage to help others experience this release.

Emily is a graduate of the Northwest Academy for the Healing Arts in Tacoma, WA and has also been deeply influenced by the teachings of the Moving Mountain Institute here in Portland. Working primarily with the myofascial system she also incorporates Swedish and deep tissue massage techniques into her work. Both personally and professionally, Emily has experienced massage as a powerful tool for physical, spiritual and emotional transformation.
While not afraid to throw in an elbow, Emily has found that the most potent treatments happen by working gently, in concert with each body’s innate healing capabilities. By moving slowly and curiously at ‘the speed of trust’ she creates time and space for tissues to respond and relax creating a felt sense of safety, ease and comfort. While truly loving to work with all types of folks, Emily’s skills shine brightest when working with people who identify as highly sensitive and those who experience chronic pain.
Born and raised in the Pacific Northwest, she especially loves her home stomping grounds along the Washington coast of the Olympic Peninsula. When not in the treatment room she can be found in a hammock in the forest, paddle boarding in the ocean or on the couch playing cribbage with her husband.

Robin is a graduate of East West College of the Healing Arts. He has additional trainings in Tui Na, structural bodywork, reflexology, and Pranic Healing - a no touch energy healing method related to Medical Qi Gong. In addition to manual therapy approaches, Robin is a yoga teacher, and loves to utilize principles and techniques from a variety of movement modalities in conjunction with massage treatments.
Robin believes that energetic imbalances are at the root of all disease, pain, and tension in the body. Such imbalances are caused by patterns of misuse, which can be unlearned through working with the somatic nervous system. During treatment, Robin helps clients begin to create new easeful patterns of movement in the physical and subtle body through mental cues, massage, and muscle energy techniques.
Robin was born and raised in Portland, OR, and has always loved massage. As a student of Jefferson High School’s dance program, he had forward thinking teachers who introduced him to the concept of soma, which has guided his life ever since. In his free time, he enjoys practicing yoga and Qi Gong, singing, dancing, and meditating.

Bryce is a graduate of East West College of the Healing Arts where she studied Swedish, deep tissue, PNF, structural bodywork, and spa modalities. She is honored to bring her compassionate presence and intuitive touch to clients at Blue Sky Wellness Studio.
Inspired by the rhythms of nature, Bryce incorporates elements of both Swedish and deep tissue massage, emphasizing fluidity and flow in each session. Her intuitive approach is characterized by gentle, nurturing strokes that mimic the gentle ebb and flow of water, combined with broad, grounding, earthy pressure as needed. It is from a base of groundedness and safety, she believes, that profound shifts can occur in the body. To this end, she tends to the nervous system by maintaining attention to the breath, gently easing into deeper work, and incorporating rhythmic rocking and compressions.

I love the complexity of the human body and find it so very interesting. My hands are guided by my heart, and are informed by my intuition and mind. My interest in the healing arts continues to be a life long journey, and began with the study of the subtle energetics of the body. The unseen body, speaks volumes. I learned how energy affects our bodies physically and deepened my studies of anatomy and physiology at The Massage School in MA. I gained lots of knowledge and experience from being hands on in the student clinics.
Then I moved cross country, and received a Bachelors from Naropa University. I studied Contemplative Psychology and Traditional Eastern Arts. Naropa’s motto is, “transform yourself, transform the world.” My practices of Tai Chi Chuan, Yoga, and Meditation flourished here.
Here in Portland, I received my Masters of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine. This ancient system of medicine guided my understanding of the body in a more holistic way, At the same time, I completed a 4 year program from The Golden Web Mystery School. I learned a different way to engage with the elements and to access information from my ancestors and begin a relationship with my allies.
All of my education informs my sessions. I would describe my massage style as a blend of Eastern modalities and western practices; bridging ancient wisdom with modern healing for a holistic approach to wellness.
I love what I do! Being in service in this way, nourishes my soul, and I feel joy in tending to you.
